This fantastic PGCE course with a Secondary focus, will allow you to specialise in teaching Computer Science from Year 7 up to Year 13.
You will experience two placements within our partner schools alongside specialist training at our brand new Cleeve Training Hub facility, where you will cover up-to-date relevant educational issues, useful teaching and learning strategies and be given time for reflection and research. If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be contacted by the University of Worcester to conduct an online interview with both the University and Cleeve Training Hub.
You will also be asked to undertake a short subject knowledge test and you will be informed of the nature of the task, in advance, to allow sufficient time to prepare.
There will be 2 placements as part of this course.
Both placements will take place in secondary schools and trainees will have the opportunity to teach up to Key Stage 5 and during the academic year.
Throughout the course, additional specialist training will be given within the Cleeve Training Hub.
