A degree equivalent to UK first-class or second-class honours (2:2 or above) in a relevant subject is preferred. Other subjects may be considered if you have a relevant A Level (or equivalent qualification) and a willingness to engage in subject knowledge enhancement
Your degree subject should be in computing or a similar subject. Otherwise you’ll need to prove your subject knowledge in some other way.
Grade 4 (C) or above in English and maths, or equivalent qualification.
We’ll consider candidates with pending GCSEs.
We’ll consider candidates who need to take a GCSE equivalency test in English or maths.
If you are applying and don’t have the GCSEs required for entry, one of Edge Hill University’s equivalency test programmes may be for you.
The equivalency tests offer you the opportunity to demonstrate that you satisfy our entry requirements for GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or Grade 4 or above.
Edge Hill offer tutor-led revision courses or standalone tests for applicants who feel they do not need tuition.
All tutor-led revision courses are delivered online, prior to sitting an exam on campus. You can choose to sit the standalone tests either on campus or at Holy Cross College & University Centre on selected dates throughout the year.
