About the course

It is a one year course which offers the opportunity to spend the majority of time in school, learning directly from experienced professionals. Professional Studies is provided by Higher Education Institutes and involves university-centred training once a week. Through lectures, workshops and assignments the theoretical aspect of teaching and Professional Studies supports practice in the classroom leading to the award of a P.G.C.E. and Qualified Teacher Status and 60 credits to Masters.
