You will be placed in the primary school that accepts you at interview.
An undergraduate degree, or equivalent.
Your degree subject should be in History or a similar subject. Otherwise you’ll need to prove your subject knowledge in some other way.
Grade 4 (C) or above in English and maths, or equivalent qualification.
We’ll consider candidates with pending GCSEs.
We will not consider candidates who need to take a GCSE equivalency test.
The salary will be decided by the placement school.

Hastings and Rother Alliance is a group of primary and secondary schools in East Sussex with the schools in the areas of Bexhill,Robertsbridge, Battle and Hastings.
The Lead school for the alliance is St Richard’s Catholic College which is a high performing secondary school.
We are highly experienced at training and supporting many outstanding trainees across a range of subjects and key stages.
You’ll need the right to work in the UK. You already have this if, for example, you:
guidance on the UK equivalents of your qualifications
a free statement of comparability once you’ve submitted your application (if we ask you for this)
Training with disabilities and other needs
Across the alliance, we are able to accommodate trainees with a range of disabilities or needs. Well being activities support trainee mental health and support is offered to individuals who require it.
