About the training provider

Eastbourne Area School Direct Alliance recruits ITT students for most of the schools in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. We offer Primary places for Key Stage 1 and 2. We also offer Secondary places for most subjects in a variety of high achieving schools. As part of your training you will get experience of KS3, 4 and 5. In addition we represent Special Needs schools who require Primary and Secondary teachers. All the schools in the consortium are experienced at training teachers and we have been very successful in aiding our School Direct candidates to obtain jobs when they have completed their training.

Interview process

Candidates will be required to teach a small group of students for approximately 20 minutes, to judge their aptitude to teach. This will be followed by a formal interview.

We can sponsor Student visas, but this is not guaranteed.

You do not need a visa if you already have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or if you’re an Irish citizen.

Candidates with qualifications from non-UK institutions may need to provide evidence of comparability by applying for a UK ENIC statement.
