Delta Teaching School Alliance is part of Delta Academies Trust, a multi academy sponsor of over 50 academies in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Our academy group consists of Secondary, Primary, Infant, Junior, all through schools and Free Schools.
Delta Teaching School Alliance has two designated Teaching Schools embracing outstanding teaching and leadership of Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post-16. We believe due to the geographical location of all our academies, we can provide the best teacher training opportunities and provide excellent support through outreach work and sharing best practice. We strongly believe the excellence in the quality of training teachers receive, leads to excellence in education for children.
About the accredited body
Delta TSA works in close partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, sharing commitment to providing high quality training for all successful School Direct applicants.
Sheffield Institute of Education (SIoE) at Sheffield Hallam recently received an ‘Outstanding’ rating for primary teacher training. SIoE also received ‘Good’ grades for secondary and further education provision.
