How school placements work
The main placement will be at St Joseph’s or one of our Alliance schools. You will also spend a short period of your training in another school to broaden your experience.
The salary for School Direct (Salaried) students will be calculated using the unqualified teachers’ pay scales.
Financial support isn’t available for this course because it comes with a salary.
If you choose a course without a salary, you may be eligible for financial support while you study, including bursaries, scholarships and loans.
There is an expectation that applicants will have previous relevant experience in an educational setting.
Successful candidates will receive an offer of employment. This will be subject to all usual recruitment checks and an Enhanced DBS clearance.
